Hey — I'm George. I've spent 4+ years turning vague requirements into production systems, mostly on the backend, increasingly in data and infra.
Right now I'm at Happy-Place (an ISPG subsidiary), leading R&D on an analytics engine that's live in production, plus a low-code code-gen platform and an async ingestion system. Before that I rebuilt ISPG's core product from scratch as a founding engineer.
I like clean architecture, systems that compound in value, and the kind of details nobody notices until they're missing. When something looks fragile, I'd rather rebuild the foundation than paper over it.

Leading R&D on four CEO-directed initiatives: an analytics engine now live in production, a low-code code-generation engine, a docs-to-NestJS-module converter, and a high-volume async ingestion platform. Also ran self-initiated penetration testing across the cluster.
Founding engineer tasked with rebuilding the core product from scratch. Led architecture decisions, set engineering standards, and built the backend foundations that became the basis for Happy-Place.
Built a scalable golf course booking platform. NestJS backend with GraphQL and REST APIs, PostgreSQL + TypeORM, and Redis caching for high-frequency query optimisation.
Backend ownership of a food delivery platform serving 5,000+ active users. Deep work in microservice architecture and gRPC inter-service communication at scale.
Led development of a design agency SaaS platform, a cross-platform React Native hotel monitoring app with SSO SAML, and a self-assessment app with in-app purchase monetisation.
Built e-commerce projects through an intensive MERN stack training programme. Foundations in version control, agile teamwork, and software delivery.
